Post-LAUP Devotional...John 21

Hello LAUP Alum!  God put this devotional on my heart at the end of the summer...an invitation into letting God continue everything he began this summer, or whenever your LAUP experience may have been!  (Pardon the jungle animals surrounding me...my office used to be a nursery..:))

Thank you for this Scott! I clung to certain pieces of my LAUP culture throughout the rest of college and now in my first full year post-grad. I feared I would forget LAUP and all I learned. I've started to wonder in the recent months how I might avoid "going back to fishing" now that I have a FT job and things are getting comfortable/routine. This devo was a wonderful reminder of the reasons I've fought to keep certain aspects of my life simple, try to serve in ministry that brings me closer to the poor, and share materials from my binder with others who are interested to keep the tough conversations going around here. (came in handy recently here in STL.)
SO, AMEN! LAUP is no joke! It's not just an internship, it's a match made in heaven with each person there. It definitely BEGAN something in my life - so thank you for this. This was encouraging; thank you for the scripture to meditate on! And thank God for his mercies and grace.

I can at least speak for one person that this was needed.
